Bond No 9 Broadway Nite - Maurice Roucel - Aldehydes & Musings

Broadway Nite was created by Maurice Roucel in 2003 for Bond No 9. Broadway Nite is a sweet, warm floral, with aldehydes aplenty and the potency & sillage of an 80’s perfume.

All of the above happens to appeal to me immensely. I’m finding myself with less and less tolerance for perfumes that don’t have presence or longevity. I’m also finding myself attracted to aldeydes, which is shocking,

Perfume for the Occasion: Harvest Moon

“Won’t you light the fire darling? I don’t think the summer is coming back…”

The last two weeks of August hid behind a silvery curtain of rain, but still I held hope that the blissful warmth of summer would make a comeback, allowing me to get a little more wear out of my sandals and chiffon shifts. But even as the sun shone the last couple of days, painting the university campus with

Andy Warhol Lexington Avenue by Bond No. 9 : Perfume Review

I love Bond No. 9’s Warhol Series – in fact, the simply stunning Silver Factory is my favorite scent of the house. Unfortunately my little sample of Silver Factory broke just one day after I received it, so I never got to review it, although its memory still haunts me. Fortunately, I now have the chance to review the newest child of the Bond No. 9 and the Andy Warhol Foundation partnership:

Bond No 9 Lexington Avenue: A Review

Lexington Avenue is the third fragrance created by Bond No 9 in collaboration with the Andy Warhol Foundation. Judging by the first two and now the third in this series I’m not so sure Andy Warhol himself would like any of the fragrances that Bond No 9 has created in his namesake. I’m just guessing this because he was buried with a bottle of Estee Lauder Beautiful. If Andy Warhol loved

How I saved $230

I was getting close to caving in and buying the new Bond no. 9 Andy Warhol Silver Factory perfume. After all, it’s a great scent and I really liked it (it’s the last item in the linked post), so even though the 3.4 oz bottle would mean a lifetime suppl…

What I smelled

Nothing in depth tonight, despite a few Serge Lutens that need to be discussed. It’s just a case of so many perfumes, so little time. There were several sniffing trips and a handful of samples that are worth documenting here, even if it’s not a full re…

Park Avenue by Bond No. 9 : Perfume Review

There is a garden that no longer exists anywhere but in my own heart, but its colors are still as vivid as they were when I could freely run and play in it as a child. It was my grandmother’s garden, where I spent a great deal of my childhood. The smells and colors throughout the year were truly a sight to behold… From the spectacular extravaganza of flowers to the generous fruit-bearing trees
