Elizabeth Arden’s eye shadow continues the illustrious makeup company’s long tradition of quality cosmetics. Their Color Intrigue eye shadow, inspired by a mural Elizabeth Arden herself commissioned in 1935, features compacts illustrated with legendary beauties depicted in the mural, such as Queen Nefertiti and Mumtaz Mahal, the inspiration for the Taj Mahal. The packaging is less important than what is inside, however. Arden’s ultra-silky, long lasting Neutral Cashmeres palette includes four very wearable shades. The three lighter shades have a subdued shimmer that provides a subtle, non-sparkly sheen. The deep brown can be used as a liner or a blending color to create a dramatic, smoky eye.
